Qurbani
*
Saba Maqsood is eight years old and lives with her parents, sisters and brother in extreme poverty in a mud house in a very deprived village in Pakistan. She attends Islamic Aid¡s Ujala School in her village.

Last year, Islamic Aid gave the family two calves as part of our Qurbani animal breeding project.

This Eid-al-Adha, Saba’s family will perform Qurbani of one cow on behalf of our donors and share the meat with other poor in their village. The family will keep the other cow as payment for their hard work. This will enable them to continue to earn a living.

Every year our Qurbani project helps hundreds of poor such families, in 10 countries, who rear goats and cows for Qurbani and earn a living through their hard work rather than rely on hand outs. Donate online here.
